About our Team

The Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) is a collaborative team of project, program, portfolio, and process management professionals dedicated to executing strategically aligned objectives and prioritized customer needs. The team operates across four disciplines: Market-Facing, supporting strategic initiatives and investments within Insurance and Healthcare markets; Customer-Facing, leading complex customer implementations and customer-driven improvements; Business Transformation, driving enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, business continuity, and acquisition integrations; and Portfolio Management, providing governance, business systems support, portfolio reporting, and process oversight.

The EPMO works closely with business, product, technology, analytics, finance, and go-to-market teams to connect planning, execution, governance, and reporting. Through this work, the team improves decision-making, increases visibility into priorities and risks, accelerates delivery, and drives successful business and customer outcomes.

About the Role

The Project Analyst Intern will support the Enterprise Program Management Office in evaluating operational processes, analyzing business data, identifying improvement opportunities, and developing recommendations that enhance efficiency, scalability, governance, and visibility. This role offers hands-on experience working on cross-functional initiatives involving business process analysis, project governance, portfolio reporting, continuous improvement, and emerging AI and automation opportunities.

As a Project Analyst Intern, you will work on strategic initiatives focused on process optimization, operational effectiveness, analytics, governance, and AI modernization while gaining exposure to enterprise-level project and portfolio management practices. The intern will collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business functions to document current-state processes, assess challenges, develop future-state recommendations, and contribute to executive-level presentations and strategic deliverables.

- Program Dates: May 24 – July 30, 2027
- Duration: 10 weeks
- Location: On-site in Alpharetta, GA. Candidates should be able to work on-site for the duration of the internship.
- Relocation Assistance: Relocation assistance is not available for this internship.
- Eligibility Requirements: Candidates must be currently enrolled undergraduate students with an expected graduation date of May 2028.

Responsibilities

- Conduct stakeholder interviews to understand business processes, workflows, tools, and operational challenges.
- Analyze operational data, metrics, and business processes to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Document current-state workflows, process maps, and business requirements.
- Support assessments of governance, reporting, support, knowledge management, and business continuity processes.
- Research and evaluate opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and process improvement techniques to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners across business, product, technology, analytics, finance, and go-to-market teams.
- Develop executive-ready presentations, reports, recommendations, and implementation roadmaps.
- Present findings, recommendations, and future-state process improvement concepts to EPMO leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems (MIS), Project Management, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field with a graduation date of May 2028.
- Experience using data, research, or business analysis to solve problems through academic, internship, project, or extracurricular experiences.
- Experience creating reports, presentations, or data-driven analyses through academic, internship, project, or extracurricular work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with collaboration and productivity tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms.
- Analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly present ideas and findings.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Interest in project management, business transformation, process improvement, analytics, governance, AI, automation, or operational excellence.
