The Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting is directly responsible for supervising the monthly close process and ensuring timely and accurate financial results for the Company's business units. Responsibilities span Fixed Assets, Leases, Intercompany/Related Party, Royalties and Broker Commissions. The role is part of the Corporate Accounting & Consolidations Group and works collaboratively and cross-functionally to drive accurate financial results, serving as a key player within the Finance organization.
Ways you will make a difference
- Monitor the monthly close process and maintain the monthly close schedule for accounting areas including Fixed Assets, Leases, Intercompany/Related Party.
- Manage Royalty and Broker Commission processes while providing analytics to the business team on key risks.
- Manage Lease and Fixed Asset accounting and reporting to ensure Project Systems and Lease database are accurate and reconciled with underlying business expectations.
- Lead Intercompany/Related Party processes to ensure appropriate legal and accounting compliance is maintained, including monthly related party confirmations; keep legal and tax teams current on all relationships.
- Assist in coordinating annual audit and quarterly review activities with external auditors. Manage communications with external auditors on financial statements and accounting issues to ensure agreement on disclosures.
- Review journal entries and account reconciliations; facilitate monthly P&L and Balance Sheet reviews.
- Supervise and develop direct reports, including Financial Analyst and Senior Accountant; define roles and responsibilities across the team.
- Monitor and ensure timely identification and compliance with evolving accounting guidance; provide U.S. GAAP interpretation and prepare technical memorandums documenting issues in a clear, logical, and comprehensive manner.
- Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements.
- Communicate and explain accounting issues and evolving accounting guidance to the management team.
- Support ad hoc projects including system and process implementations, reporting enhancements, and requests from key stakeholders.
Skills that will make you successful
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
- 7–10 years of relevant accounting experience
- CPA preferred
- Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge required; IFRS experience highly preferred; heavy exposure to financial reporting, SAP experience is a plus
- Public company experience preferred, CPG industry experience is a plus.

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $114,450 - $160,230 annually + 20% bonus potential.
