About the Role
This is a founding engineering role at an early-stage AI infrastructure startup, where you will help build the platform powering the next generation of AI-native service businesses. You will work directly with the founder on a small, high-trust team with no legacy code and no pre-defined roadmap. What you build and how you build it is yours to define.
What You'll Do
- Design and ship core platform features across agentic workforce infrastructure, a company knowledge layer, a human trust layer, and a unified operator cockpit.
- Talk to users directly, define the right outcomes, and own the full cycle from problem to production.
- Ship to production fast, from your first week onward, and iterate based on direct feedback.
- Set technical direction on a greenfield codebase with no inherited constraints.
- Leverage AI tooling to move at a pace that raises the bar for what a small team can produce.
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record of shipping real products to real users, including navigating what broke and how you fixed it.
- Broad product-engineering range relevant to agentic infrastructure and agent-building, rather than a single narrow deep-tech specialty.
- Comfortable talking to users, defining outcomes, and shipping the result without waiting for assigned tickets.
- AI-native working style: you use AI tools to write and ship code at a pace that would have seemed unreasonable a couple of years ago.
- High intensity and a bias toward forcing things into existence; prior founding experience or very early startup experience is a strong plus.
- Committed to relocating to San Francisco by January 2027. This is a firm requirement, not a preference.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary in Europe while based there, switching to a San Francisco-level salary on the day you relocate. Meaningful early equity. Visa sponsorship fully provided and fully paid for, along with relocation costs covered by the company.

On-site. Currently based in Europe, with a firm relocation to San Francisco, United States by January 2027. The company supports the move end-to-end.
