Truck Driver, Atlanta, GA

Pay Rate: $24.97/Hour

Shift: Day shift 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Local and multi – state delivery with overnight travel for certain routes

As a Truck Driver, you will provide outstanding customer service and develop relationships with a variety of customers as a part of a fast-moving, dynamic sales team! Other responsibilities include making local deliveries in a safe and efficient manner utilizing a company vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate box truck (26 ft, GVWR to 26,000 pounds) to transport and deliver goods to and from designated locations.
- Responsible for picking and organizing necessary orders for designated sites, loading and processing shipments
- Material shipping
- Labeling
- Product picking
- Writing BOL
- May load and unload truck(s)

Qualifications

- Must be at least 18 years of age and two years’ experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Commercial Class State Driver's License - Part A or Part B (CDLA or CDLB)
- Must possess or obtain a HAZMAT certificate required for transporting hazardous related materials
- Required to possess or obtain 49CFR and IATA certifications
- Safely use hand and power tools and operate equipment such as forklift, barrel dolly, pallet jack and hand truck
- Must be able to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) as required
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
- Basic math skills including knowledge or weight calculations/conversions
- Lift up to 80 pounds infrequently and 40-60 pounds routinely
- Position requires ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, lift, carry, and reach for paint products.
