We are currently looking for a Hygiene Officer in our Nyon office, a key member of the QC Microbiology team.

Reporting to the Team Leader Microbiologie & Hygiène, you will ensure hygiene and cleanliness zoning requirements are consistently applied to both product and personnel flows. Support the implementation of initiatives related to Microbiology laboratory excellence and manufacturing process microbiology risk reduction.

Your Role at Haleon

Microbiological quality control for production environment and utilities :

- Investigate all microbiological issues related to production activities and events impacting production environment.

- Initiate and actively participate to the implementation of the preventive and corrective actions plans related to hygiene/environmental issues

- Perform monitoring and trend analysis of cleanliness zones and process utilities, and provide feedback to appropriate functions to improve quality and performance

- Referent in new production equipment integration you perform microbial qualification monitoring for new utilities network, or new room or equipment

- Drive filling tests for preservative free products in compliance with internal SOP

Compliance:

- Write / update internal standards of industry appropriate microbiology and hygiene standards.
- Train personnel towards hygiene/environmental Haleon corporate requirements
- Perform self-inspections in accordance with the plan
- Participate to audits, inspections and remediation plan execution
- Respect all GMP standards. GMP knowledge and experience to support the requirements expected by Swissmedic, European Union agencies and other regulatory bodies to assure that our products meet all cGMP requirements together with our operations and documentation system
- Respect HSE Haleon corporate requirements

Customer Orientation / Service:

- Provide Hygiene support during cleaning validation and engineering projects, as appropriate

- Manage the development and implementation of workflow optimization initiatives, which positively impact cycle time, productivity and quality of work.

- Excellent communication, very good listener, open mind spirit, always willing to help

- Establish and actively maintain customer service relations in accordance with OTC shared values with internal site customers, internal off-site customers and third party representatives.

What we are looking for

- Engineering or University diploma Specialized in Microbiology – Hygiene/environmental - Quality
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- French : Fluent (oral & written) & English : confirmed (oral & written)
- Excellent technical knowledge of microbiology
- Ability to establish internal standards in microbiology based on current  regulations and internal requirements.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office) with demonstrated skills in the use of word processing, spread sheets, databases & information management systems.
- Analytical capabilities
- Customer Orientation strong customer and quality focus
- Good knowledge of Pharmacopeia and ICH Quality management system standards.
