At Low-T Center , we’re passionate about helping men feel their best and take an active role in their health. We’re looking for a dependable, compassionate, and motivated Part-Time Medical Assistant to join our team at our MHRT Wellness Clinic in Plano.

Our Medical Assistants play an important role in creating an exceptional patient experience. From welcoming patients and taking vital signs to assisting with lab work and treatments, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while gaining valuable experience in a growing area of healthcare.

We provide two weeks of paid, hands-on training to help you feel confident and prepared in your role. Medical Assistant certification is preferred but not required .

What You’ll Do

- Obtain and document manual vital signs
- Perform routine blood draws
- Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as directed by the provider
- Maintain lab equipment and accurately document lab results and quality controls
- Prepare and run in-house labs or coordinate labs with outside facilities as needed
- Ensure appropriate lab orders are prepared for each patient
- Assist with weekly inventory, ordering, and related communication
- Support front desk responsibilities when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment
- Follow proper HIPAA, sterilization, and safety procedures
- Provide professional, compassionate customer service to every patient
- Contribute to a positive team environment with a strong work ethic and willingness to help wherever needed

What We’re Looking For

- High school diploma or equivalent; proof of education required
- At least 6 months of medical assisting experience
- Phlebotomy experience required
- Experience assisting with minor procedures is preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Experience with EMR systems
- Knowledge of HIPAA and sterilization procedures
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Able to successfully complete a criminal background check
- Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the Plano clinic

Certification

Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy certification is preferred but not required .

Schedule

Clinic Hours:

- Monday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
- Thursday: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

Additional scheduling requirements:

- Up to 20 hours per week
- Must be available to work Thursday through Saturday
