About the role

The Factory Support Controls Engineer will lead production troubleshooting activities at our Monterrey factory to ensure minimal downtime for our production lines. The right candidate will be a quick learner, and capable of working with people from multiple different backgrounds and disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

As a Factory Support Controls Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

- Troubleshooting mechanical HVAC circuits & associated components on commercial chillers and related equipment.

- Troubleshooting electrical problems in a production line setting, including but not limited to; sensors, wiring, and communication protocols.

- Lead the effort to ensure that the permanent corrections identified during the troubleshooting are implemented across the various teams

- Working as the factory system expert by communicating system controls to local personnel, helping write & enforce procedures, and identifying software bugs.

- Working as a liaison between local engineers, run test operators, and design engineers across the globe.

- Training others to identify common troubleshooting methods to keep the production line moving

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

- Requires advanced knowledge obtained through a University degree, combined with experience

- A minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience

- An advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience

- Advanced English

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

- Experience working with HVAC
