Product Manager – Physisorption & Chemisorption
Location : Norcross, Georgia (Hybrid)
About the Role
Are you passionate about translating customer insights into innovative products that drive scientific discovery? We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, commercialization, and lifecycle management of our Physisorption & Chemisorption portfolio. In this highly visible role, you will work across global teams to shape product roadmaps, identify market opportunities, and deliver solutions that help customers solve complex materials characterization challenges.
Reporting to the Group Product Manager, Gas Porosity & Reactivity Solutions, you will play a key role in driving portfolio growth, market expansion, and competitive differentiation while partnering with R&D, Sales, Marketing, Applications, Finance, Service, and Operations teams worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the product roadmap for assigned products, aligning investments with customer needs and business strategy.
- Develop business cases and evaluate new product development opportunities to support investment decisions.
- Translate customer needs, market opportunities, and emerging technologies into compelling product concepts and requirements.
- Conduct voice-of-customer research, competitor analysis, and market assessments to inform product strategy.
- Establish pricing strategies and support portfolio profitability and growth objectives.
- Partner with Marketing to develop product launch plans, demand generation activities, and value proposition messaging.
- Equip Sales teams with product positioning, competitive intelligence, sales tools, and customer-facing collateral.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, including new product introductions, enhancements, portfolio optimization, and end-of-life planning.
- Develop global growth strategies and maintain deep knowledge of competitive technologies and market trends.
- Act as a key product ambassador with customers, industry stakeholders, Applications teams, and Sales organizations.
What You Will Bring to the Role
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, applications, technical marketing, scientific instrumentation, materials characterization, or a related technical field.
- Proven ability to translate customer and market insights into product requirements and commercial strategies.
- Strong analytical, technical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated success working across multidisciplinary and global teams.
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree (MS, MSc, PhD, or equivalent) in a scientific or engineering discipline.
- Experience with adsorption science, porosity characterization, catalysis, or materials characterization technologies.
- Knowledge of scientific instrumentation markets and global product commercialization.
- Experience developing go-to-market strategies for technical products.

You will also contribute to the development of the next generation of Physisorption solutions as part of the long-term product roadmap.
