As an Application Developer specializing in Oracle OCI Migration and Modernization, you will execute lift-and-shift migrations of applications and workloads from on-premises data centers and other cloud providers into Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You will assess existing environments, map dependencies, plan migration roadmaps, and perform migrations using OCI-native and hybrid tools. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Execute Application Migrations: Execute application and workload migrations from on-premises or multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) into OCI, utilizing OCI Application Migration, Database Migration Service, Resource Manager (Terraform), and third-party tools for cross-cloud migrations. • Develop Migration Roadmaps: Assess legacy environments, identify dependencies, and develop OCI migration roadmaps and cutover strategies to ensure minimal downtime and application stability. • Perform Lift-and-Shift Migrations: Perform lift-and-shift migrations of Oracle Fusion Middleware, WebLogic, SOA, packaged apps, and custom workloads to OCI Compute, Storage, Networking, and Kubernetes. • Establish Hybrid Connectivity: Establish hybrid connectivity by integrating OCI with AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, and GCP Interconnect. • Document Migration Procedures: Document runbooks, rollback plans, and migration procedures, and provide knowledge transfer for operational teams. 10+ years of experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, SIS, or enterprise application implementations. Strong OCI migration experience, including migrations from on-premises and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Hands-on expertise with Oracle technologies including PeopleSoft, Fusion Middleware, WebLogic, SOA, EBS/Siebel, and PeopleTools. Strong experience with SQL, integrations, data migration, and application development. Functional expertise in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and experience translating business requirements into technical solutions. Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, OCI migration services, and other cloud-native technologies. Exposure to hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity solutions. Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMP, or Oracle Cloud. Experience with Agile delivery tools such as Jira or Trello. Leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management experience.
