ERP Analyst II

Job Summary

The Tier 2 ERP Analyst will play an important role in advancing the organization’s ERP transformation by supporting the implementation and ongoing optimization of Oracle Fusion while maintaining reliable operations within the current JD Edwards (JDE) environment. As a trusted partner to business and technical stakeholders, this role translates business needs into practical, well-governed solutions and manages system enhancements from discovery and design through testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. The analyst resolves Service Desk tickets, performs Tier 1 development and configuration, and helps strengthen master data integrity, system controls, process documentation, and operational performance. This position offers meaningful cross-functional exposure, ownership of business-critical solutions, and the opportunity to build expertise within an evolving enterprise technology environment.

Primary Responsibilities

•         Lead the discovery, design, and roll-out of new Oracle Fusion ERP capabilities, from requirements gathering through solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live (hypercare) support.

•         Partner with business stakeholders to map current and future-state processes, clarify controls and approval workflows, and recommend solutions aligned with enterprise standards and best practices.

•         Configure solutions within established standards and lead the testing strategy for small to medium changes, including unit, system integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

•         Manage ticket intake and triage, troubleshoot complex issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate resolution across technical and business teams.

•         Recommend and implement preventative controls to reduce the recurrence of issues and improve operational reliability.

•         Govern master and critical transactional data changes across functional areas (such as customer, item/bill of materials, pricing, and chart of accounts), owning data quality and driving timely corrective actions.

•         Strengthen data controls, approval workflows, and audit evidence for the assigned functional area, and analyze and present data insights to support business decisions.

•         Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, job aids, test scripts, and training materials; build and lead training sessions and change communications to promote adoption.

•         Adhere to change control, security, and audit requirements, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and support appropriate segregation of duties.

•         Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization, reduce defects and rework, and standardize processes to support operational excellence.

•         Support business mergers & acquisitions, system integrations, and broader business transformation efforts through cross-functional collaboration.

•         Manage small projects or workstreams by coordinating tasks, timelines, testing, stakeholder updates, and issue follow-up to deliver assigned outcomes.

•         Build and modify functional reports and dashboards, analyze trends and operational metrics, and translate reporting needs into actionable insights.

•         Cross-train peers and less experienced team members and reinforce consistent ways of working within the assigned functional area.

Minimum Requirements

•         Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

•         Experience supporting, implementing and enhancement to Oracle Fusion and other ERP systems in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

•         3-5 years of experience supporting ERP systems enhancements and/or data management, with a track record of owning reliability and end-to-end delivery of change management within a functional area.

•         Experience with ERP configuration concepts & testing tools

•         Experience with reporting and business intelligence tools

•         Working understanding of system integrations and security basics

•         Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis and the ability to recommend preventative controls.

•         Strong communication and customer service capabilities.

•         Work in a collaborative team environment.

•         Ability to document processes and operate effectively within a controlled change environment.

•         Ability to work independently within a functional area, make recommendations, and drive changes through established governance.

Preferred Qualifications

•         Familiarity with master data governance across functional areas such as customer, item/bill of materials, pricing, and chart of accounts.

•         Experience leading workshops, designing process maps and requirements documentation.

•         Comfort building and modifying functional reports and dashboards that translate reporting needs into actionable business insights.

Travel Expectations

•         Up to 25% once established in the role.

Office Environment

•         Hybrid. Onsite 4 days a week and remote 1 day a week.
