We’re looking for a Vice President, Client Service to join our award-winning Digital team.

Our ideal candidate is an experienced social client service lead – someone who thrives off of conceiving ideas, selling them in, and assembling the agency’s resources (creative, production, media, technology, experiential) to make them a reality. This person must not only possess strong creative abilities and social media knowledge, but also confidently engage with top executives (VP Marketing, CMO, etc.) to push ideas, shape opinions, and bring ideas to life.

As a VP, you will be an integral part of a team leading a consumer health brand.  You will be charged with introducing clients to the power of building compelling stories, social strategies, and experiences, all directed by a confluence of data and leading-edge technology. You will be a social strategy champion who knows how to launch an effective influencer campaign or annual strategy. Insert additional client-specific detail here or in a new paragraph.

Responsibilities:

- Act as day-to-day contact for senior-level social clients and develop deep relationships, providing strategic solutions on everything digital – including social and influencer

- Exhibit solid understanding of key client information including general business strategy, industry issues, products and services offered, key customers, competitors

- Lead multiple workstreams from strategy through execution; manage teams

- Liaise and collaborate with internal teams and external agency partners; communicate cross-discipline deliverables and expectations

- Spot opportunities for growth to drive additional revenue

- Stay current on the latest social technology, functionality, and influencer integrations to serve as a go-to resource for the client and internal team

- Serve as a mentor and escalation point for junior staff and trusted advisor for senior staff

- Exhibit an understanding of the components of large integrated marketing campaigns, such as advertising, paid media, social, and issue advocacy

- Display strong knowledge of the marketing mix, and the role each channel plays in the success of a campaign

Basic Qualifications:

- At least 8 years of relevant experience in digital marketing and communications

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experienced digital client service lead for a global brand

- Agency experience is a plus

- A demonstrated track record of developing and executing social strategies and programs that have driven tangible results.

- Experience working with paid media, analytics, planning, technology, editorial and creative teams to build effective strategies and experiences

- Familiarity with analytics and reporting across earned, owned, and paid platforms

- Skill in leading a team and inspiring junior staff

- Accountability to reliably take ownership of work and responsibilities

- Polished, innovative, collaborative, and a strong operational leader

$105,000-150,000 a year

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
