## About the role

Primary Responsibility Maintain and improve inventory accuracy through disciplined cycle counting, reconciliation, transaction review, and system control. Support trusted inventory data, timely discrepancy resolution, and clear material status visibility across the warehouse operation.

## Key responsibilities

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

•  Execute scheduled cycle counts and inventory verification tasks according to the approved zone or location plan.

•  Investigate count variances through SAP review, transaction tracing, location checks, physical recounts, and discussion with operating teams.

•  Process approved inventory corrections, adjustments, transfers, or status changes in accordance with control expectations.

•  Monitor material status conditions such as hold, quarantine, damaged, blocked, or return stock and ensure clear physical and system identification.

•  Work with receiving, material handling, and shipping teams to identify root causes of recurring inventory errors and correct process breakdowns.

•  Support same-day reconciliation where possible to prevent aging open discrepancies.

•  Reconcile Book to Book monthly for 3PLS to maintain accuracy in SAP.

•  Determine quantity and lots to pull for rework consumption for production.

•  Prepare count reports, variance summaries, and follow-up documentation for supervisors and management review.

•  Participate in physical inventory events, audit preparation, and inventory accuracy improvement work.

•  Cross-train in related transaction review, receiving support, and warehouse data verification tasks as directed.

•  Help sustain inventory accuracy standards, slotting discipline, and traceability controls across North and South operations.

Cross-Training and Functional Support

•  Support adjacent logistics functions as trained and assigned to maintain operational continuity across inbound, internal supply, outbound, and administrative activities.

•  Participate in the site cross-training matrix and maintain current qualification status for assigned and backup tasks.

•  Contribute to shift coverage, handover quality, and same-shift issue resolution to reduce service gaps and overnight carryover risk.

Performance and Compliance Expectations

•  Perform work in accordance with SOPs, GMP, food safety, allergen control, sanitation, and applicable regulatory or transportation standards relevant to the role.

•  Support department KPI performance, timely issue escalation, CAPA follow-up, and accurate documentation of operational activities.

•  Participate in daily huddles, shift handovers, and problem-solving routines to sustain standard work and accountability.

Other Functions as Needed or Assigned

•  Assist with return bin review, location cleanup, and inventory status correction projects.

•  Support KPI reporting for inventory accuracy and related improvement actions.

## Qualifications and skills

Minimum Requirements

•  High School diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.

•  Inventory control, counting, SAP, or warehouse system experience preferred.

•  Strong attention to detail, follow-up, and analytical skills required.

•  Ability to work independently and communicate findings clearly required.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to bend, reach, stand, and walk for extended periods. Must be able to visually distinguish labels, product markings, and location identifiers and work safely around forklifts, trailers, and warehouse traffic.

Working Environment

Freezer / Ambient warehouse and factory environment with exposure to raw materials, packaging, finished goods, forklift traffic, trailers, and basic product chemicals.
