JOB SUMMARY

The Senior SAP Engineer is responsible for the design, development, integration, and support of SAP ECC 6.0 EHP8 and SAP CRM solutions across critical business functions. This role serves as a technical expert for SAP development, system integrations, interface management, and production support, partnering with business and IT teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design, develop, enhance, and support SAP ECC 6.0 EHP8 and SAP CRM applications and integrations.
- Provide technical leadership and support for SAP Project Systems (PS), including WBS structures, budgeting, cost tracking, settlements, and FI/CO integration.
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise integrations utilizing SAP PI/PO, REST APIs, SOAP services, RFCs, BAPIs, OData services, and event-driven architectures.
- Develop and support inbound and outbound interfaces using XML, cXML, CSV, Excel, and other structured data formats.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, integration, and data-processing issues across SAP and external systems, including root cause analysis and defect resolution.
- Support end-to-end business processes across SD, MM, FI, WM, LE, and CRM modules.
- Manage secure communications between SAP and external systems, including SSL/TLS certificates, encryption, authentication, and certificate lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, develop technical specifications, and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions that meet business needs.
- Drive adoption of development standards, code quality practices, testing methodologies, and technical best practices to ensure system reliability and maintainability.
- Participate in application lifecycle management activities, including design, testing, deployment, change management, release planning, and production support.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, and support procedures.
- Evaluate emerging SAP technologies and integration capabilities to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and modernization.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing across the team.

MANDATORY EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7+ years of experience designing, developing, supporting, and enhancing SAP enterprise applications and integrations.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting SAP ECC 6.0 EHP8 and SAP CRM environments.
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP Project Systems (PS), including WBS structures, budgeting, cost planning, settlements, and integration with FI/CO.
- Experience supporting SAP business processes across SD, MM, FI, WM, and LE modules.
- 5+ years of experience with SAP PI/PO integration development and support.
- 5+ years of experience developing and supporting integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, RFCs, BAPIs, and OData services.
- 5+ years of experience developing, transforming, and supporting data exchanges and interface files including XML, cXML, CSV, and Excel.
- 5+ years of experience managing secure system connectivity, including SSL/TLS certificates, encryption, authentication, and certificate management.
- Experience with CDS Views, AMDP, SAP Solution Manager, production support, incident management, and application lifecycle management.
