Job Purpose

The Software Product Manager is responsible for defining and driving the vision, strategy, roadmap, and feature priorities for software products. The Software Product Manager influences and aligns stakeholders across the business and ensures that development efforts deliver measurable business outcomes.

Job Description

Product Strategy & Vision  Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap and ensure it aligns with the enterprise vision, strategy and roadmap  Lead product discovery efforts, including problem definition, customer research, and validation of product hypotheses   Translate product discovery efforts, market, customer, and stakeholder insights into product direction and prioritized features  Backlog & Value Prioritization  Facilitate backlog prioritization by collaboration with a Product Owner.  Ensure prioritization reflects business value, customer impact, technical feasibility, and long-term sustainability  Balance competing priorities including new development, maintenance, technical debt, and compliance  Execution & Planning  Lead PI Planning sessions to determine plan to account for business priorities, objectives, and dependencies  Monitor work progress across development teams to ensure delivery of value  Participate in demos and integration events to validate outcomes and adjust direction  Stakeholder Alignment & Collaboration  Engage and align stakeholders across engineering, design, architecture, and business functions

You are meant for this job if:

- Degree in engineering, computer science, product management, business, or related discipline  Minimum of 2 years experience in software product management, digital products, or related roles in an Agile environment  Strong understanding of Agile development practices, backlog management, and release planning  Demonstrated ability to align stakeholders and drive decisions across cross-functional teams  Ability to operate effectively in complex, matrixed organizations  Demonstrated exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are critical to interface with and motivate all levels of personnel, as well as customers. PC skills and knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software. In office work four days per week with one work from home day.
