The Associate Manager, Global Sourcing will manage a diverse portfolio of sourcing projects and operational programs, ranging from day-to-day execution to complex, strategic initiatives. This person will solve business problems, navigate ambiguity, collaborate across business units and departments, and build strong stakeholder and supplier relationships to drive results. As part of the Global Sourcing team, this role will lead and support sourcing initiatives across a broad range of direct and indirect categories, while overseeing the Corporate Fleet and Corporate Travel programs.

This position will be based at our West Los Angeles, CA office. We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.

Job Description

- Analyze business plans, production environments, and supply requirements to determine optimal sourcing strategies across businesses and commodities.
- Lead the planning and execution of RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs, including supplier evaluation, selection, and implementation.
- Support the development of supplier management strategies by which vendors are evaluated, selected, and managed in accordance with established guidelines and best practices (RFI/RFP, Scorecards, Performance Metrics, escalation/response processes, etc.).
- Lead key strategic sourcing initiatives and serve as the primary liaison between business units and key stakeholders throughout the end-to-end sourcing process, including category analysis, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and implementation.
- Determine and recommend alternate supply strategies to create cost savings, mitigate risk, and support business objectives.
- Prepare and present strategic sourcing strategies, recommendations, and project updates to senior management and business stakeholders.
- Partner with Product Development, Technical Packaging, and other cross-functional teams to source innovative and cost-effective materials and services.
- Identify metrics, tools, and best-in-class processes to optimize sourcing activities, supplier performance, and operational efficiencies.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of projects and programs, balancing day-to-day operational responsibilities with longer-term strategic initiatives across multiple business functions.
- Develop subject matter expertise in key commodities, such as various packaging materials, ingredients, print technologies, heavy equipment, sustainability, etc.
- Ability to serve as a project manager on sourcing and operational initiatives, often managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Manage the Corporate Fleet program, including vehicle registration renewals, title administration, new vehicle procurement, vehicle and driver records, and authorization of maintenance and repair requests. Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support day-to-day fleet operations and drive continuous improvement.
- Support Corporate Travel program, including negotiating and managing annual preferred agreements for hotels, offsite venues, airlines, and rental car providers. Partner with internal stakeholders and travel suppliers to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve traveler experience, and support business travel needs.

Qualifications

- 5-7 years of work experience in supply chain, sourcing/procurement, or product development of a broad range of commodities and services on a global basis.
- Experience in both Direct and Indirect Sourcing categories is preferred.
- Food/Beverage (CPG) experience strongly preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Exceptional proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Presentation skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and take ownership of projects from initiation through completion.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across multiple business functions.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time to business unit offices in California’s Central Valley and to vendors across the United States and possibly internationally.
- BA/BS in Business or related field.

Pay Range: $95,0000 - $115,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
