Job Summary

The CRNA II is a board-certified licensed clinician who provides anesthesia services to all patients in the organization. General responsibilities include reviewing patients' medical history, administering and managing anesthesia, and monitoring the patient during the procedure or perioperative period. The incumbent is responsible for supplying documentation of continued registration as a CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist).

Department of Anesthesiology Specific Key Responsibilities:

Partners with anesthesia leadership and Talent Acquisition to assess staffing needs and develop targeted recruitment plans.

Develops and executes strategic marketing campaigns (e.g., conferences, social media, open-house events).

Proactively sources qualified CRNAs through networking, referrals, and outreach.

Builds and maintains relationships with CRNAs, SRNAs, and anesthesia programs to support ongoing pipeline development.

Attends career fairs, professional meetings, and academic events to promote the organization.

Coordinates interviews with candidates and serves as a primary point of contact through the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experience.

Qualifications

Education
Master's Degree Nurse Anesthesia Practitioner required

Licenses and Credentials
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist [CRNA (NBCRNA)] - National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) required Massachusetts Registered Nurse License required

Basis Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support required

Experience
CRNA 2-3 years preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Skilled in taking medical histories to assess medical conditions and interpret findings.
- Ability to maintain quality control standards.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.
- Ability to communicate clearly and establish/maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
- Thorough preparation of content and ability to confidently deliver engaging findings to select audience.
- Ability to solve problems within the scope of their expertise and explain complex information helping others to understand.
