Clubhouse Engineer Job Description
A Clubhouse Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and safety of a clubhouse’s facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building upkeep, while coordinating with staff, contractors, and safety protocols
Position Overview
The Clubhouse Engineer role is a facilities maintenance positio n within the clubhouse of Four Bridges Country Club. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong organizational and communication skills to keep the clubhouse functional, safe, and compliant with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Routine maintenance : Perform HVAC system checks, plumbing repairs, and electrical inspections to ensure optimal performance
- Inspections : Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address maintenance needs promptly
- Request handling : Respond to maintenance requests from staff and members, prioritizing urgent issues
- Contractor coordination : Work with external contractors for specialized repairs or projects
- Inventory management : Maintain supplies and equipment for maintenance activities
- Safety & cleanliness : Monitor and uphold cleanliness and safety standards across the clubhouse
- Preventive maintenance : Implement measures to extend the lifespan of facilities and equipment
- Energy efficiency : Assist in developing and implementing sustainability initiatives
- Record keeping : Document all maintenance activities, materials used, and costs
- Compliance : Adhere to all safety regulations and occupational health standards
Required Qualifications
- Education : High school diploma or GED; technical certification or vocational training in facility maintenance preferred
- Experience : Proven facility maintenance experience, ideally in hospitality, resorts, or country clubs
- Technical skills : Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance
- Soft skills : Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management abilities; ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Certifications : Technical or vocational credentials in facility maintenance are advantageous
