Job Summary

This Warehouse/Lab position is a key contributor role for the maintenance of the material and inventory in a large biotechnology company. This individual will be performing data entry, managing our warehouse management system “Perfect Pick”, Inventory adjustments for maintaining accuracy in our Enterprise Resource Planning system. They will also perform inventory cycle counts for maintaining accuracy of inventories for Finish Good Inventory and components. This individual must be detailed oriented and driven to keep up in a fast-paced environment. This position will work closely with Packaging, Customer Service, Planning, Manufacturing and Receiving/Shipping personnel. This individual must be able to update and maintain standard operation procedures and be able to create meetings, follow ups and be able to provide efficient trainings.

- Assist in trouble shooting shipping errors
- Monitor Materials within packaging and shipping adjustments and errors.
- Perform data entry to document material transactions accurately.
- Transfer materials for internal customer use and for inventory needs
- Maintain accuracy of inventories for finish good inventory and components
- Perform inventory counts and perform adjustments in the ERP system.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Organize and complete inventory related projects.
- Develop and implement efficient inventory management procedures.
- Create and maintain quality documents in accordance with the company’s ISO standards.
- Recommend system/process enhancement.
- Work independently on tasks and assigned duties.
- Handling questions and troubleshooting on task/processes.
- Instruct and facilitate new associates on performing tasks.
- Track KPI metrics.
- Investigate customer complaints externally and internally.
- Review and provide updates for written SOP and procedures.
- Document processes and procedures used for the material handling.
- Review and update Tier II standard operation procedures
- Manage special projects or responsibilities as may be required.
- Follow materials in house temperature and identification requirements.
- Report and communicate with Production, QC, Customer Service, receiving, Planning and Procurement groups to coordinate material and resource requirements to full fill production activities.

- Ensures compliance with company and department policies, procedures, checklists.
- Performs other duties as assigned/required.

- Participate in cross functional meetings to determine appropriate actions to resolve issues.

Minimum Qualifications – Education and Experience

- 1 years of lab experience
- 2 years of inventory control experience

Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience

- Experience in an ISO13485/MDSAP/FDA environment
- Experience working under aseptic conditions.
- Hands-on experience of handling antibody materials or chemical buffers
- Previous experience with Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) or ERP
- Prior experience in life science, biotechnology industry or process manufacturing industry
- Prior experience handling multiple product lines with high volume and high mix of SKU’s
- Familiar with Quality Management Systems

The pay range for this full-time position is a salary $20.00 – $23.00 per hour USD Annually. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The pay offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
