Process Quality Assur-Clinton

POSITION SUMMARY

The Process Quality Assurance role is responsible for addressing all Supplier quality issues and to find resolution by using an intercompany Supplier Corrective Action Response  (SCAR) process to recoup cost of materials and labor from Suppliers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Implements SCAR process when necessary.
- Processes all return parts to the appropriate suppliers for credit.
- Assesses and addresses any damaged incoming freight daily.
- Evaluates all returned parts and assess condition of parts before restocking.
- Procures parts for repairs to damaged goods.
- Communicates with suppliers, plant and corporate when there is a quality issue and find resolution.
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

- Computer Knowledge

- Phone skills
- Ability use of hand tools
- Knowledge of reading spec sheets

Day-to-day work and decisions do not require direction or review by immediate supervisor. End results are reviewed by supervisor.
