Trane Technologies  is currently seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join a high-impact, forward-thinking infrastructure team dedicated to scaling our global cloud footprint. In this role, you will bridge the gap between architectural vision and hands-on execution across major cloud environments. You will collaborate closely with software engineering, security, and product teams to build highly available, secure, and cost-optimized platforms.

What you will do:

- Cloud Infrastructure: Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure solutions across enterprise cloud environments.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain robust IaC scripts using tools like Terraform to ensure consistent and automated environment provisioning.
- CI/CD Automation: Build, optimize, and manage deployment pipelines to support rapid, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) for engineering teams.
- Backend Integration: Support application development and environments working closely with microservices and serverless components, with a strong focus on Node.js runtimes.
- Observability & Reliability: Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using industry-standard cloud suites or third-party observability tools.
- Cost & Performance Optimization: Audit cloud resource utilization to proactively implement cost-saving measures without sacrificing operational performance.

What you will bring:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical industry experience.
- 3 to 5 years of dedicated experience in production-level cloud engineering, DevOps, or system administration configurations.
- Cloud Ecosystems: Hands-on experience deploying, monitoring, and managing production workloads within a major public cloud environment (such as AWS or GCP).
- Application Stack: Strong proficiency with backend development and scripting tools, specifically including Node.js and its ecosystem ecosystem alongside languages like Python or Bash.
- Automation Tools: Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code frameworks (specifically Terraform) and version control workflows.
- Containers & Microservices: Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes.
