Ready to play a key role in building accurate and executable wind turbine repower proposals?

The Senior Estimator develops competitive cost estimates for utility-scale repower, major-component replacement, retrofit, and construction projects. This position leads the estimating process from RFP review through proposal submission and project turnover.

Working across Operations, Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Crane & Rigging, Logistics, Business Development, and Safety, the Senior Estimator evaluates project requirements, identifies risks and exclusions, and ensures estimates reflect how the work will be performed in the field.

What you will work on:

- Lead detailed estimates for wind turbine repower and major-component projects?

- Review RFPs, drawings, specifications, contracts, schedules, technical documentation, and client requirements?

- Develop labor, equipment, crane, tooling, logistics, subcontractor, travel, and indirect-cost estimates?

- Development of detailed project estimates for utility-scale wind repower projects

- Assist in the preparation of customer proposals and bid packages

- Review and validation of subcontractor and vendor quotations

- Creation and maintenance of schedules of values (SOVs)

- Cost modeling and scenario analysis for alternative execution strategies such as schedule variations

- Change order pricing and evaluation

- Bid tabulation and commercial comparisons

- Development and maintenance of estimating databases and historical cost benchmarks

- Support for project budgeting, forecasting, and risk assessments

- Coordination with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to validate scope and assumptions

Are You Ready to:

- Calculate costs using crew composition, labor classifications, production rates, unit rates, and project duration?

- Develop estimates at the turbine, activity, project, and overall program levels?

- Identify scope gaps, assumptions, exclusions, risks, and potential cost exposure?

- Support proposal development and transition awarded projects to Operations?
