## Project Overview:

Bechtel's Manufacturing and Technology (M&T) is an exciting and growing business unit that serves customers in the semiconductor, electric vehicle, and datacenter markets. M&T strives to exceed our customer objectives through utilizing our agility, innovative technologies, and world class talent.

The Solutions Group is M&T's talent engine. We hire high-potential early-career professionals, develop them in the home office, and mobilize them to the projects that need their capability. Solution Specialists work across the Group's five pillars of focus:

- Execution (Home Office and Site);
- Planning and Applied Simulation;
- Data and Analytics;
- Operational and Strategic Initiatives; and
- Field Solutions.

## Job Summary:

In this role, you will join the M&T Solutions Group, and spend your first 3 to 6 months in the home office. During that period you will complete a structured 30/60/90-day Bechtel-ization plan and work a short-term assignment under a Sponsor (Pillar Lead), supporting live project and functional initiative work. This is a deliberate development window. It exists to build your technical depth, your understanding of how Bechtel executes, and your visibility with the project and functional managers who will compete for you.

At the end of that 3-to-6-month window, you will mobilize to a project site. Project and functional managers request specialists out of the Solutions Group based on demonstrated capability, and when a receiving role is confirmed at the placement gate, you relocate and are placed into that project or functional-staff role.

## Major Responsibilities:

Office Development Period (Months 0 to 3)

- Complete the 30/60/90-day Bechtel-ization plan: fully provisioned and productive on first tasks within 30 days; embedded in a pillar and delivering supervised assignment work by 60 days; contributing independently and creating visible demand for placement by 90 days.
- Deliver assigned scope on a short-term assignment under the direction of a Sponsor (Pillar Lead), meeting the three defined assignment conditions covering scope, duration, and performance.
- Learn Bechtel's systems, tools, standards, work processes, and the One-Bechtel way of working.
- Build working relationships across the pillars and with project and functional managers across the GBU.

Project Mobilization (Months 3 to 6 Onward)

- Prepare for and support the placement gate review with your Sponsor and the Receiving Manager.
- Mobilize to the assigned project site and integrate into the receiving project or functional-staff team.
- Execute a clean knowledge handoff on transition out of the Solutions Group.

Technical Contribution

- Apply and grow specialist capability in one or more Solutions Group areas: Primavera planning, Advanced Work Packaging, constructability, 4D simulation, data analytics, systems integration, artificial intelligence, or construction execution.
- Support home-office and field work products, adapting quickly to new scopes, teams, and tools.
- Interpret design drawings and project documentation appropriate to your assigned discipline.

Safety, Quality and Values

- Implementation of the project ES&H program and quality control program in every work location, office and field, consistent with Bechtel's Zero Accidents philosophy.
- Work in accordance with Bechtel's Vision, Values & Covenants and Business Ethics policies.

## Education and Experience Requirements:

- Typically requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in engineering, construction management, data science, business, or a related discipline and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
- Master's degree or MBA may substitute for a portion of the experience requirement.

## Required Knowledge and Skills:

- Willingness and ability to relocate to a project site, domestic or international, at the conclusion of the Office development period. This is a required condition of the position and will be confirmed at panel interview.
- Demonstrated aptitude and growth trajectory in a Solutions Group capability area: planning and applied simulation, data and analytics, execution, Advanced Work Packaging and constructability, systems integration, artificial intelligence, or field solutions.
- Strong delivery orientation, with a record of completing defined scope to schedule and quality expectations.
- Adaptability. Able to enter a new team, scope, or toolset and become productive quickly.
- Excellent communication and problem solving ability, written and verbal.
- Work includes field activities and the physical ability to conduct them, which require the following: extensive walking in and around a construction site, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, working on elevated platforms, working on uneven surfaces and working in small or confined spaces.
- Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.Understanding of applicable Bechtel work processes including Standard Work Process Procedures is preferred.
