As a Portfolio Manager focused on Commercial Real Estate, you will support the underwriting, credit monitoring, and ongoing management of commercial real estate lending relationships. This role plays a key part in evaluating credit opportunities, managing portfolio risk, and helping deliver high-quality financial solutions to clients while ensuring adherence to lending policies and regulatory requirements.

## Key Accountabilities
Analyze borrower, guarantor, property, and market financial information to evaluate new loan requests, renewals, modifications, and annual reviews.
- Monitor portfolio performance and maintain timely and accurate risk ratings for commercial real estate relationships.
- Review loan repayment activity, property performance, and the financial condition of borrowers to identify and manage risk.
- Ensure portfolio administration and client relationship management activities comply with lending policies, operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Minimize portfolio exceptions by proactively managing reporting requirements, covenant compliance, relationship reviews, and past due items.
- Partner with Relationship Managers to support client relationships and coordinate with Credit, operations, and other internal business partners.
- Assist with due diligence and analysis for prospective client opportunities and relationship expansion efforts.
- Participate in loan approval processes, present credit recommendations as appropriate, and contribute to special projects that support team objectives.

- ## Education & Experience

- ## Required
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of Commercial Real Estate lending, underwriting, portfolio management, or credit approval experience.

- ### Preferred
3+ years of experience working with complex credit relationships.
- Sales experience.
- Formal credit training.
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or progress toward obtaining the designation by start date.
- Access to reliable transportation and the ability to lawfully drive, if applicable.
