The Business Process Analyst IV is responsible for analyzing and improving business processes within an organization. Identifies inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement, and proposes solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Conducts thorough analysis of existing business processes, workflows, and procedures.

Identifies gaps, redundancies, and areas of improvement to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

Collaborates with stakeholders from various departments to gather requirements and understand their needs.

Conducts interviews, workshops, and data analysis to identify process requirements and document them accurately.

Works with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT teams, and project managers, to ensure alignment and successful implementation of process improvements and or change management.

Communicates findings, recommendations, and progress updates to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.

Creates process maps, flowcharts, and diagrams to visually represent current and future state processes.

Documents process steps, inputs, outputs, decision points, and dependencies to provide a clear understanding of the workflow.

Identifies opportunities for process improvement and recommends changes or enhancements.

Develops and implements strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs, improve quality, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Performs data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to process performance. Uses statistical tools and techniques to analyze data and make data-driven recommendations for process improvements.

Supports change management efforts by communicating proposed process changes to stakeholders, addressing concerns or resistance, and facilitating training or workshops to ensure smooth transition to new processes.

Documents process changes, updates standard operating procedures (SOPs), and maintains process documentation repositories. Ensures all relevant stakeholders have access to up-to-date process documentation.

Establishes key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of implemented process improvements.

Monitors KPIs regularly, analyzes performance data, and provides reports or dashboards to track progress and identify areas for further improvement.

Promotes a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. Stays updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and process improvement methodologies to drive ongoing enhancements.

May act as a team lead which encompasses training and mentoring.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of seven plus (7+) years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.  Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.

The estimated pay range for this role is $51.63 to $58 per hour, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
