Test Engineer | Space Systems Test (Secret Clearance Required)

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As an Test Engineer supporting the GPSR Space Systems Business you’ll be a member of or lead a of a cross functional team responsible for Module and System Testing of GPSR Space Systems.

- Plan Test Readiness Reviews, staffing, environmental testing, and transitions between vibration, thermal-vacuum, and functional test activities.

- Understand test procedures, automated scripts, post-processing tools, and test results.

- Operate and troubleshoot RF test systems, GPS signal simulators, and supporting test equipment.

- Understand system test equipment architecture, interfaces, power delivery, protection circuits, and instrumentation.

- Review test data for unit-level changes and long-term trends across production lots.

- Verify test equipment configuration, calibration status, and readiness before testing.

USD $112,924.00 - USD $125,275.00 /Yr.
