Night Shift Base Pay: $22.50 per hour, plus $2.50 shift differential

Night Shift 6PM-6AM rotating shift

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Paint Attendant (Machine Operator 3) is an advanced-level operator responsible for executing complex machine setups, optimizing equipment performance, and resolving high-level operational issues. This role demonstrates advanced proficiency, strong independent decision-making, and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex production challenges, ensuring consistent performance in safety, quality, and efficiency.

Advanced operators play a critical role in maintaining machine efficiency through troubleshooting, adjustment, and performance optimization.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Perform advanced setup, calibration, and precision adjustments of machinery to meet detailed production specifications.
- Independently monitor and optimize machine performance to maximize throughput and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve complex equipment malfunctions, material inconsistencies, and process deviations using root cause analysis.
- Interpret detailed work orders, specifications, and technical data to execute production requirements accurately.
- Conduct advanced inspections and quality validations to ensure strict adherence to standards.
- Identify trends in defects, downtime, and inefficiencies; implement corrective actions to improve performance.
- Complete detailed production documentation, performance tracking, and reporting requirements.
- Perform and support advanced preventive maintenance activities to sustain equipment reliability.
- Proactively identify and mitigate safety risks and ensure full compliance with safety procedures.
- Coordinate material flow and machine readiness to ensure uninterrupted production. Apply continuous improvement practices to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve output quality.
- Provide technical clarification and process consistency support as needed to maintain standard operations.

Qualifications

- Advanced knowledge of machine operation, tooling, and manufacturing processes.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

- 3+ years of machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in equipment setup, adjustment, and troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to resolve complex equipment or process issues independently.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and detailed specifications.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
- Ability to work independently in a high-performance production environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently, including above shoulder height and below waist level.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to handle materials for extended periods.
- Ability to use PPE, hand tools, carts, dollies, overhead cranes, and material handling equipment.
