As an Exercise Control (EXCON) Analyst, you’ll bring your expertise to work alongside thought leaders supporting Marine Force capability development. You’ll research, develop, analyze, and produce high‑priority deliverables in coordination with exercise planners, training staff, and subject matter experts. You will provide operational, exercise, and engagement planning support, developing scenario architecture, OPORDs, Road‑to‑War documentation, and inject strategies that drive joint all-domain realism throughout warfighting exercises and the service-level training exercises.

You Have:

- Experience with joint or service‑level exercise planning or EXCON operations
- Experience developing OPORDs, scenario architecture, Road‑to‑War, or Master Scenario Event Lists (MSEL)
- Experience adjudicating operations, simulating higher headquarters intent, and delivering dynamic scenario corrections during live execution
- Experience with Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) integration and training system interoperability
- Knowledge of Project Tripoli and the TECOM Campaign Plan
- Ability to create daily operational summaries, inject logs, and refinement or AAR notes for staff review
- Ability to develop and present briefings for senior military and civilian personnel
- Ability to travel to CONUS locations up to 15% of the time for field exercises
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

- Experience with Marine Corps or joint service‑level training events such as warfighting exercises or equivalent
- Experience in a combat operations staff
- Experience with information warfare, multi‑domain operations, and inject development such as fires, EW, and cyber
- Knowledge of Distributed Maritime Operations and JADC2 integration concepts
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
- Graduate of an Expeditionary Warfare School, Command and Staff College, or equivalent

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
