Lead PR05 3rd Shift/Pet Food/Full Time/Humboldt Plant, TN

Job Details:

The Lead Class 5 team member supports production operations by setting up lines before production, verifying cleanliness and operational readiness, performing line operations, completing departmental paperwork, assisting with pre-operational inspections, operating departmental equipment, and ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, HACCP, and Tyson Foods policies.

Pay is $21.45 Plus an additional $2.00 shift differentia l

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·       Set up production lines prior to start-up and verify readiness for operation.

·       Inspect processing lines for cleanliness, sanitation, and proper functionality.

·       Perform all production tasks within the department as needed.

·       Complete production and operational paperwork accurately and timely.

·       Assist with pre-operational inspections following breaks and meal periods.

·       Report safety concerns, policy violations, quality issues, and productivity concerns to supervisors.

·       Operate equipment associated with the department safely and efficiently.

·       Maintain knowledge of HACCP requirements and food safety regulations.

·       Support team members and provide leadership within the production area.

·       Follow all Tyson Foods safety and operational procedures.

Qualifications

·       Knowledge of manufacturing, production, and food safety practices preferred.

·       Ability to lead by example and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

·       Ability to perform all positions within the department.

·       Basic documentation and recordkeeping skills.

Physical Requirements

·       Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.

·       Ability to lift and move product containers and tubs using proper lifting techniques.

·       Ability to work in a cold, wet, noisy manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

Work is performed in a food production facility with exposure to moving equipment, wet floors, cold temperatures, noise levels requiring hearing protection, and production-related hazards. Compliance with all safety requirements is mandatory.

Requirements:

3 - month forklift experience listed on the application (can be combination of employers as long as experience is at least 3 months)

180 days wait period from last termination date,

3X rule (candidates cannot have worked for Tyson 3X before)
