Job Summary:
The Sales and Estimation Specialist assesses, develops, negotiates and oversees RNC project needs.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities*:
- Reviews scope related to projects to be bid.
- Attends Builder meetings as required.
- Coordinates with resources required to value engineer projects.
- Prepares estimates associated with projects whether plan and spec or design build.
- Communicates with division leadership to review job content and proposed pricing.
- Provides bids to Builders.
- Negotiates and submits final contract price within guidelines provided by company.
- Reviews contract details to ensure contract being offered is in alignment with bid.
- Provides contract to legal for review and coordinate identified issues between Airtron legal and Builder’s representative.
- Coordinates with Operational Team to ensure submittals are in line with bid details.
- Coordinates with Field Supervisors assigned by Production Team
- Participates in negotiating change orders and executing purchase orders as required.
- Participates in periodic internal WIP reviews to determine if project is performing as planned.
- Maintains and expands Builder relationships and engagement.
- Maintain and update RNC Sales Reports.
- Follows all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety

Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Intermediate computer skills and able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Strong relationship building skills, customer focused and disciplined
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong presentation skills.
- Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to work overtime with little notice; weekend hours may occasionally be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years’ experience in outside sales
- Proven track record of sales success
- Must possess basic CAD operating skills
- In-home service agreement sales and estimating experience
- Knowledge of HVAC equipment
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Completed college coursework

Working Conditions:
- Partial time spent in an office environment
- Partial time spent in the field in customer homes.
- Travel by vehicle to and from work locations
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to drive and operate a motorized passenger vehicle or forklift
- Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds frequently
- Frequently performs tasks requiring climbing, bending at the waist, crawling, kneeling, crouching
- Must be able to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and occasionally work on platforms/scaffolding (using the appropriate fall protection requirements)
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, masks/respirators, reflective safety vests, gloves and safety toe, construction-grade work boots
- Must be able to adhere to long periods of standing, walking or sitting
- Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and/or other sounds to operate phones or other equipment safely.
- With natural or corrected vision, able to see and focus for close, distance, peripheral vision with normal depth perception
- Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to others
- Ability to enter text or data into a computer by means of a traditional keyboard or 10-key numeric keypad
- Must be able to use arms and hands to reach overhead, signal, grab, hold, lift, turn, push and pull objects and tools
