Robotic Spray Operator

MACRO Industries, a leading aerospace and defense composites company is currently seeking a Robotic Spray Operator   in Huntsville, Alabama. The successful candidate will set up, operate and monitor the robotic spray equipment ensuring the safe, efficient production of high quality products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain robotic spray equipment.
- Performs routine equipment checks, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance.
- Makes equipment and process adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Follows all safety, quality, and production requirements.
- Completes required production records and documentation accurately.
- Meets daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitors material inventory and communicate supply needs.
- Inspects products during the spray process to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Identifies and properly handle nonconforming materials or products.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Performs product preparation and other support tasks as needed.
- Assists in training team members once fully qualified.
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, and productivity.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:  
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Technical training or certification in manufacturing, automation, robotics, or a related field is a plus.

Experience/Knowledge:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
- Experience operating automated, robotic, or spray application equipment.
- Knowledge of quality inspection processes and production standards.
- Experience performing basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with inventory control and material handling practices.
- Experience working in a safety-focused, fast-paced production environment.
- Military painting experience a plus.
- Experience with composite materials a plus.

- Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Ability to accurately complete production records and documentation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with manufacturing systems.
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
- Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
