The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the healthcare facility to ensure compliance with infection control standards and regulatory requirements. This position plays a critical role in promoting a healthy and hygienic environment conducive to patient healing and well-being.

Evening Shift
Requires Rotating Weekends/Holidays

Qualifications:
- ## Education : Although a high school diploma or GED is preferred, we are pleased to offer comprehensive on-the-job training to support your success at Mercy.
- ## Experience : Prior hospital environmental service experience preferred. Prior work experience following written and verbal instructions. Previous experience with performing manual tasks preferred. Prior experience working with the public; customer service.
- ## Physical Requirements :
## Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- ## This role involves frequent movement throughout the hospital during the majority of the shift.
- ## Flexibility and physical stamina are essential.
- ## Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support departmental operation.
