Job Description

Position Summary

The Senior Analyst will support the analytics function for the U.S. Housing platform, with a primary focus on Multi-Family. This role will work closely with business partners, Product, Technology, and Engineering to deliver analyses, reporting, and insights that drive measurable business impact.

This individual will develop SQL queries and data models to answer business questions, and build and maintain reports and dashboards, primarily in Power BI, that make data easier to understand and use in decision-making. While the role primarily supports Multi-Family, this individual will also have opportunities to work on broader U.S. Housing initiatives, helping connect data, tools, and ways of working across both businesses. They will also help explore and adopt AI-assisted approaches to delivering information to the business, making insights faster to produce and easier to consume.

This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role. The ideal candidate is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to work directly with data and analytical problems, is eager to learn, and can manage multiple priorities. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, growing business judgment, and solid communication and relationship-building skills.

Essential Job Functions

1. Data Extraction, Integration & Quality Assurance.
Write, test, and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from Redshift, Yardi, and other source systems. Validate and reconcile data across platforms, and support data quality through QA practices—testing and validating data and reports for accuracy across Single-Family and Multi-Family portfolios. (25%)

2. Dashboard & Reporting Development
Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports, applying consistent standards for visualization and KPIs. Promote self-service analytics by building intuitive dashboards and maintaining clear documentation of data sources, report logic, and definitions. (25%)

3. Business Partnership & Analytical Consulting
Partner with business stakeholders to translate business questions into analytical solutions. Perform ad hoc analyses and clearly communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders, using SQL, Power BI, and Python/Redshift as needed to solve analytical problems. (25%)

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Innovation
Partner with Product, Technology, and Engineering to deliver scalable, reliable data and reporting solutions. Explore and help adopt AI-assisted tools and workflows to deliver information to the business more quickly and effectively, driving continuous improvement of the analytics function. (25%)

Education

This position requires a(n) Undergraduate (Bachelor) Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Work Experience

3-4 Years of Required Experience in:

- Strong experience building, maintaining and enhancing dashboards in Power BI including data modeling and DAX.
- Strong SQL skills, including writing and optimizing queries; experience with Amazon Redshift or a similar cloud data platform is a plus.
- MS Office products to include Power BI visualizations and excel modeling.
- Familiarity with Git, Agile development methodologies, and collaborative software development practices.
- Knowledge of or experience in the Multi-Family real estate industry; exposure to Single-Family, asset management, or financial services is a plus.
- Note: 5-7 Years of experience can offset minimum educational requirements for this position

Compensation

Commensurate with Experience

$87,900 - 122,955 annually
