Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of the hotel’s electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, wiring, lighting, sockets, switches, and distribution boards.
- Attend to electrical maintenance requests in guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, and back-of-house areas.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure all electrical systems are safe and in good working condition.
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and minor improvement works as required.
- Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and follow hotel safety procedures.
- Support the Engineering team with other maintenance duties when required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Technical qualification or certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, lighting, motors, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read basic electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Good knowledge of electrical safety standards and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
- Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language, Arabic is an asset
