We are seeking a driven, adaptable individual who is eager to contribute during an exciting transition period as we prepare for the opening of the clubhouse and golf operation. Compensation : $25.00 hourly
General Purpose:
The Operations Coordinator supports the transition and opening of Club Altamira's clubhouse and golf operation, providing on-site coordination across facilities, membership, and golf services. This position reports directly to the Regional Director of Operations until the Club Manager assumes responsibilities on October 17, 2026.
Essential Duties:
- Coordinates day-to-day operations during the pre-opening and transition period of the clubhouse and golf facility
- Manages and oversees janitorial services to ensure the facility meets cleanliness and presentation standards
- Assists in establishing homeowner member accounts, including access setup and member communications
- Supports the setup and operation of golf retail, point-of-sale systems, and related technology platforms
- Serves as a primary on-site contact for vendors, contractors, and service providers during the transition
- Assists with telephone and email communications for members and the general public regarding club services and operations
- Provides general administrative support to the Regional Director of Operations and the broader operations team
- Performs other duties as assigned as the operation grows and evolves
- Regular and reliable attendance required
Education/Experience:
- Six months to one year of related experience in golf, hospitality, club management, or facilities operations preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Physical Demands:
- Role may require light physical activity including walking the facility, assisting with setup tasks, and standing for extended periods during opening activities
Environment/Noise:
- Work is performed in both indoor clubhouse and outdoor golf course environments; noise level is moderate
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:
- Ability to read and speak English required to effectively communicate with members, co-workers, and vendors
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with golf management or point-of-sale systems a plus
- Exceptional organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interacting with homeowners and members
- Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision and adapt as operational needs change
