Process Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a Process Technician to support engineering and laboratory operations through hands-on execution of metrology activities, wafer and FOUP preparation, equipment monitoring, and routine process support tasks. This individual will play a critical role in enabling efficient laboratory operations by managing multiple requests, supporting engineers across various projects, and ensuring high-quality execution of daily activities.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, service-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift throughout the day. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to balance multiple tasks while maintaining a positive and collaborative attitude.

Key Responsibilities

- Support daily laboratory operations by executing metrology measurements and data collection activities.

- Perform FOUP preparation, wafer handling, and material movement in accordance with established procedures.

- Run process and metrology jobs on engineering and laboratory equipment.

- Complete scheduled weekly tool monitors and routine equipment health checks.

- Assist engineers with experiment setup, sample preparation, and data gathering activities.

- Perform basic tool operation, setup, and minor maintenance activities following documented procedures.

- Track and prioritize multiple work requests from engineers and stakeholders.

- Ensure accurate documentation of completed work, tool status, and laboratory activities.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.

- Escalate equipment, process, or safety concerns in a timely manner.

- Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance laboratory efficiency.

Required Qualifications

- Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, engineering, or semiconductor environment.

- Experience following detailed procedures and work instructions.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

- Ability to safely handle wafers, FOUPs, and laboratory materials.

- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with engineers and technicians.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in a semiconductor laboratory or manufacturing environment.

- Familiarity with metrology equipment and measurement techniques.

- Experience supporting engineering development activities.

- Basic understanding of process control and equipment monitoring.

- Experience working in cleanroom environments.
