*Candidates must be located in or near the Sterling, Virginia area with a willingness to work on-site Monday-Friday 9am-6pm*
As a Returns Analyst I, you will be responsible for researching difficult, unusual and case sensitive returns issues, resolving post-shipment issues and managing customer product returns. You will assist with the customer order process and order edits, assisting with RMA inventory counts and managing additional operations projects, as necessary.

Your Impact

The essential functions of this position include:
- Obtain vendor return approvals
- Qualify and manage customer return requests
- Work with your manager, upper management, outside vendors to resolve issues
- Identify issues impacting business process and revenue, escalate them to and through the proper channels
- Conduct quarterly inventory counts
- Create new purchase orders and sales orders to allow the Invoicing department to bill customers
- Work with internal departments in preventing and resolving customer issues
- Ensure material availability; coordinate with sales team, vendors, and customer to schedule/process freight shipments and pickups
- Work with warehouse personnel to help identify and resolve warehouse issues
- Work in warehouse management system to process returns
- Manage physical handling of returned goods
- Research and resolve post shipment issues such as short shipments, over-shipments, lost or damaged shipment
- Edit customer orders, as needed
- Work with configuration team on internal warranty returns
- Manage other projects and additional responsibilities, as needed

Qualifications
---
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience
- 4-year degree is preferred, or equivalent experience
- IT Industry related experience is a plus
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective written communication skills
- Strong attention-to-detail
- Ability to utilize internet to research, analyze and process returns
- Knowledge of Microsoft office suite of products
- Must be a team-player with a “can do” attitude

Position Specifics
---
The initial base salary range for this position is expected to be between $19.23 and $24.03 hourly. The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, our compensation structure may include other components such as commissions and discretionary bonuses.
ePlus offers a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility, employee stock purchase program and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and personal leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an offer of employment is extended.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
