About this role
Responsible for the independent collection, analysis, and interpretation of cyber threat intelligence. In this vital role, the analyst provides actionable assessments to technical and non-technical teams, bridging the gap between raw intelligence and operational security. Professionals regularly participate in intelligence sharing, contribute to internal and external reporting, and may lead small projects or research initiatives.
- 2+ years in a intelligence, cyber threat intelligence or information security role with experience working in cybersecurity tools, intelligence sources and threat intelligence platforms
- Demonstrated proficiency in research methodologies, threat intelligence platforms (TIPs), and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Ability to analyze malware samples, network traffic, or logs using analytical tools (Wireshark, YARA, sandboxing, etc.) is preferred.
- Ability to correlate IoCs to logs and alerts from a variety of different technologies, including IDS/IPS, firewall, proxies, and anti-virus across multiple platforms.
- Proficiency in threat detection and analysis techniques.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Clear, concise communication skills for both technical documentation and non-technical explanations.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
