Tisun Beauty Supply is a growing beauty retailer offering a wide selection of haircare, wigs, extensions, braiding hair, cosmetics, skincare, beauty accessories, and other beauty products. We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Cosmetic Sales Associate to join our Northlake team. The ideal candidate enjoys the beauty industry, understands the importance of exceptional customer service, and can confidently help customers find products that meet their individual needs.

Position Summary

The Cosmetic Sales Associate is responsible for providing an excellent shopping experience while assisting customers with beauty and cosmetic products. This position combines customer service, sales, product knowledge, merchandising, and general store support .

The successful candidate will be friendly, dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Greet customers promptly and provide exceptional customer service.

- Assist customers in locating and selecting beauty, cosmetic, haircare, and related products.

- Ask questions to understand customer needs and provide appropriate product recommendations.

- Develop knowledge of Tisun Beauty Supply's products, brands, promotions, and services.

- Stay informed about current beauty, haircare, and cosmetic trends.

- Explain product features, benefits, and proper use when appropriate.

- Help customers shop for wigs, extensions, braiding hair, haircare products, cosmetics, skincare, lashes, beauty tools, and accessories.

- Promote sales, special offers, and store promotions.

- Maintain attractive, clean, organized, and properly stocked merchandise displays.

- Restock merchandise and assist with inventory organization.

- Assist with receiving, tagging, and organizing new merchandise.

- Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately when assigned.

- Assist with returns and customer concerns in accordance with company policies.

- Maintain awareness of merchandise and store security.

- Work collaboratively with management and other associates.

- Follow all company policies, procedures, and customer-service standards.

- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.

- Beauty supply, cosmetics, salon, or beauty-industry experience is a plus.

- Strong interest in beauty, cosmetics, haircare, and current beauty trends.

- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to confidently interact with a diverse customer base.

- Strong customer-service and sales skills.

- Professional, positive, and approachable personality.

- Dependable, punctual, and responsible.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.

- Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise as required.
