About the Role

Southern Home Services is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Talent Acquisition Partner – High-Volume Recruiting to join our growing Talent Acquisition team.

This role is ideal for a recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys building relationships, identifying great talent, and partnering closely with business leaders. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for skilled trades and business-support positions, with a primary focus on HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, and other high-priority roles across our organization.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, highly responsive, and comfortable managing multiple requisitions while delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring-manager experience.

What You'll Do

Full-Cycle Recruiting

- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition intake and sourcing through screening, interviewing, offer acceptance, and onboarding coordination.
- Recruit for high-volume skilled trades positions, including HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, and other operational and business-support roles.
- Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies using job boards, Indeed, referrals, networking, direct outreach, and other recruiting channels.
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines to support both immediate and future hiring needs.
- Proactively source passive candidates for ongoing and hard-to-fill positions.

Candidate Sourcing & Screening

- Conduct high-volume sourcing and outreach to identify qualified candidates.
- Review resumes and applications and conduct phone screens to evaluate qualifications, experience, technical skills, availability, and alignment with the role.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Deliver a positive, professional candidate experience from initial contact through offer and onboarding.

Hiring Manager Partnership

- Partner closely with General Managers, department leaders, and hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, team dynamics, and performance expectations.
- Conduct regular recruiting check-ins with hiring managers to review open positions, candidate pipelines, challenges, and hiring priorities.
- Provide market insight and recruiting recommendations to help leaders make informed hiring decisions.
- Communicate recruiting activity, progress, challenges, and opportunities proactively.

Interview Coordination & Assessment

- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
- Manage interview logistics and ensure timely communication with candidates and hiring managers.
- Administer Predictive Index assessments for applicable General Manager, Inside Sales, and Home Comfort Advisor candidates.
- Ensure candidate information and interview outcomes are accurately documented.
- Maintain accurate candidate dispositions and interview trackers in Paylocity.

Hiring Events

- Support and coordinate hiring events through Indeed and other recruiting platforms as needed.
- Manage candidate RSVPs and coordinate event logistics in partnership with Talent Acquisition Partners and business leaders.
- Organize pre- and post-event meetings with business leaders to ensure alignment on hiring goals and gather feedback.
- Follow up with candidates after events and ensure timely dispositioning and next steps in Paylocity.

ATS & Recruiting Administration

- Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage candidate flow, requisitions, sourcing activity, interview stages, and hiring outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate and requisition information.
- Ensure consistent documentation throughout the recruitment process.
- Support job postings, requisition maintenance, reporting, and other Talent Acquisition initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, workflows, and overall hiring efficiency.

What We're Looking For

- 3+ years of high volume recruiting experience
- Experience recruiting for skilled trades, field service, home services, or similar industries is strongly preferred.
- Experience managing multiple open requisitions simultaneously.
- Demonstrated experience sourcing candidates through Indeed, LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, and direct outreach.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and recruiting/scheduling tools.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize competing demands and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong follow-up skills and a sense of urgency.
- Ability to build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and business leaders.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to jump in and support the broader Talent Acquisition team when needed.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a growing team.

Salary Description
60,000 to 65,000 plus monthly bonus
