Job Description
As a Customer Lifecycle Manager , you will help develop and execute programs that engage customers throughout their subscription journey to increase customer experience, retention, and value. The ideal candidate combines strong program execution, analytical thinking, customer empathy, and attention to detail. This is an individual contributor role that will collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Analytics, Legal and other cross-functional partners to develop and execute campaigns and solutions that optimize the service experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute customer lifecycle programs designed to engage, retain, and grow subscribers.
- Develop and manage customer communications across email, app, web, and other digital channels.
- Translate lifecycle strategies and business priorities into clear campaign plans, requirements, workflows, audience definitions and deliverables.
- Coordinate campaign development from initial planning through stakeholder review, QA, testing, launch, measurement, and optimization.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver consistent and connected customer experiences.
- Help develop audience and segmentation approaches based on lifecycle stage, customer behavior, and program objectives.
- Support experiments and tests intended to improve engagement, customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue.
- Monitor program and campaign performance, identify trends, and recommend opportunities for improvement.
- Use customer data, research, survey feedback, and NPS feedback to represent the customer perspective.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, customer experience, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3-7 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, customer engagement, retention, campaign management, digital marketing, customer experience, or a related area.
- Experience supporting or executing customer communications across digital channels.
- Experience working in a subscription, e-commerce, technology, consumer services, or similarly data-driven environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with marketing automation, CRM, campaign management, or customer engagement platforms. Salesforce Marketing Cloud is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong program and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into practical recommendations.
Salary
The pay range for this role is $83,000 to $127,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
