Summary

Oversees the Contract’s financial health by managing the invoicing process, analyzing financial data, cost reimbursement and developing strategies to improve profitability and financial stability. This position will be required to partner with other operational and system teams, the client, as well as other external vendors on process and workflow reviews. Establishes best practices and quality controls to support the business processing and contract requirements. Leadership and mentoring a finance team of six or more to ensure all tasks are performed as required and department SLAs are consistently meet.

Your role in our mission

- Responsibility for the management of the Contract’s financial provisions, ensure accuracy of all invoices and cost reimbursement activities.

- Develop, maintain and support a robust invoicing process that includes risk management and shortens time to payment.

- Work with other departments to provide financial guidance and support for various business initiatives.

- Develop financial models and scenarios to support assessment of business and process changes, providing valuable insights and information for decision-making.

- Provide customer support to our client and ensure frequent meetings and communication are established. Resolve and monitor routine customer escalations as appropriate and drives client satisfaction.

- Ensure processes and procedures are documented and reviewed/updated on a regular basis. Provides guidance on process improvements and recommends changes in alignment with business tactics and strategy for area of responsibility.

- Oversees finance team for work assignments, quality of output and KPI/SLA performance. Mentors skills development.

- Other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

- A minimum of five 5 years of account/finance management experience, preferably for a government or private sector healthcare payer.

- Broad and extensive experience (more than five 5 years) of increasingly responsible professional accounting or auditing experience, as well as Contract Management experience.

- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communications skills.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

- This is a hybrid position based out of Roseville, CA.

The pay range for this position is $121,900.00 - $145,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
