Senior Software Engineer. Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and distributed systems. Assist on architecting and implementing event-driven solutions leveraging messaging platforms. Build and optimize cloud-native applications deployed. Design, implement, and maintain robust data models and persistence layers. Ensure high-quality code through Test-Driven Development (TDD), unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews. Involved in performance tuning, scalability, and resilience across services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Implement and enforce security best practices. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, enabling fast, reliable, and repeatable deployments. Monitor and troubleshoot production systems using observability tools, ensuring high availability and reliability. Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve system performance and developer productivity. Requires bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or foreign equivalent plus 3 years of experience in software development and knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and GraphQL/REST APIs; Background in designing and building microservices architectures and distributed systems; Understanding of Apache Kafka or similar event-streaming platforms; Knowledge of AWS (or similar cloud platforms), PostgreSQL, Oracle, and other relational/NoSQL databases; Background implementing automated testing strategies (JUnit, Mockito, Testcontainers); Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines; Familiarity with API design and development (REST and GraphQL); Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS); Understanding tools such as Maven or Gradle, observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Coralogix, Papertrail); Knowledge of logging frameworks and centralized logging solutions; Familiarity with security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, OWASP principles); Knowledge of Agile/Scrum environments.
