The Vice President, Revenue Operations and Strategy for The Trade Desk will oversee the global revenue operations for the company and serve as a trusted partner to the CEO and C-suite executive team. They will lead an experienced team spanning revenue operations across all go-to-market functions including Enterprise Advertising, Client Services, Agency, and aligned geo functions (North America, EMEA, APAC). Reporting to the Global Vice President of Commercial Operations & Strategy, this leader will work closely with senior level stakeholders in go-to-market as well as its peers across Client Operations, Sales Enablement, Commercial Intelligence. In addition to engaging at senior levels of the organization, this leader will need to roll up their sleeves and “build the machine” while working alongside teams to solve problems and help drive sales success. The VP, Revenue Operations & Strategy will be joining The Trade Desk at a key point in the company's trajectory and will help the organization build the right level of "infrastructure" to be able to scale while still staying true to The Trade Desk’s culture.

Wh at You’ll Do :

- Serve as key strategic counsel and close partner to The Trade Desk's Founder & CEO as we continue to scale the company and evolve the company’s sales strategy, client service model and organizational structure.

- Lead corporate planning by partnering across functions to develop budgets and global operating plans that align with and advance our strategic vision.

- Provide strategic leadership as the company’s principal architect for resource allocation, collaborating closely with other C-level executives.

- Deliver timely, accurate forecasts and maintain clear visibility into sales and revenue performance by actively managing the pipeline and weekly forecasts.

- Support the executive team by coordinating cross-functional and regional processes (e.g., budget and headcount requests), communications, and forums.

- Partner with Finance to drive long-range and annual planning, and guide resource investment decisions across the business.

- Streamline processes across business teams, including designing the go-to-market engine, defining global revenue review and planning processes, and facilitating team interactions.

- Develop and coach the operations executive team and senior leaders, focusing on leadership and management capabilities through tailored development plans.

- Drive company performance by implementing agreed goals, standards, and measures at program and service levels to enable evaluation and effectiveness.

Who you are:

- 15+ years of progressive experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Go-to-Market Strategy leadership roles within complex, global organizations.

- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business, Finance, Economics, or Data Analytics; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.

- Demonstrated success in developing and executing scalable revenue operations strategies that drive growth, efficiency, and alignment across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success.

- Deep expertise in forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue performance analytics, with a proven ability to translate insights into strategic business recommendations.

- Skilled in leading large, distributed teams and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

- Proven track record of optimizing end-to-end revenue processes, systems, and technologies, including CRM, analytics, and automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Clari, Tableau).

- Strong financial acumen and a data-driven mindset, with experience supporting annual planning, target setting, and board-level reporting.

- Adept at leading through change and building organizational alignment in dynamic business environments.

- Committed to operational excellence, strategic impact, and enabling sustained, predictable revenue growth.

In accordance with various US state laws, the range provided is the Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as variable compensation-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $191,200 — $350,600 USD
