Job Description & Summary
The Opportunity

As a Director, AI & Data Solution Architect you will lead the design of AI and data solutions that help clients modernize platforms, shape architecture choices, and connect technical direction to business goals within our Data and Analytics Engineering practice. As a Director you will set strategic direction, drive business growth, cultivate client relationships at the executive level, and mentor teams as they develop new ideas, solutions, and structures. In this role at PwC, you will oversee multiple work streams, translate complex needs into practical architecture, and collaborate across Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics, and Data, Analytics & AI to deliver data modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Setting strategic direction for AI and data solution architecture across client engagements and transformation programs
- Leading discovery sessions to translate business challenges into Generative AI and data modernization solution concepts
- Designing scalable architecture patterns using LLM APIs, vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation, and LLMOps practices
- Shaping solution roadmaps that connect AI, data science, cloud services, and digital tooling into practical delivery plans
- Guiding development of prompt engineering, context engineering, and conversational programming approaches for client use cases
- Overseeing evaluation methods for AI outputs, guardrails, and model performance across production and pilot environments
- Advising executive stakeholders on AI fluency, operating model changes, and AI-human collaboration opportunities
- Driving innovation through rapid experimentation, learning loops, and adoption of emerging AI platforms and frameworks
- Collaborating across technical and business teams to align architecture choices with data, analytics, and AI goals
- Developing thought leadership and mentoring teams on generative AI patterns, service design, and solution architecture

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 9 years of experience

What Sets You Apart

- Directing AI and data architecture for client-facing transformation programs
- Translating generative AI strategy into scalable solution roadmaps
- Applying prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, and LLMOps knowledge
- Leveraging AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Services, or Google Vertex AI
- Building agent orchestration, vector databases, and retrieval-augmented generation
- Demonstrating data modernization leadership across multiple engagements

Up to 80%

Job Posting End Date

The salary range for this position is: $155,000 - $410,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
