About this role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Current Product Placement Student to join our team for 12 months, specializing in Engineering for our CES (Cummins Emissions Solutions) business segment in Darlington. During your placement, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to launch your career in the industry and power your potential !
Working under the guidance of the Technical Specialist, the student will be involved in all aspects of the current product engineering group, assisting to provide technical support for Cummins Emission Solutions technology, throughout Europe.
This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence in Summer 2027 .
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- We are looking for a wide range of applicants studying towards a Bachelor’s or Master's degree from across all Engineering & STEM related subjects
- Excellent computing skills; Experience with Microsoft Office desirable.
- An understanding of how a diesel engine works and a basic knowledge of how an aftertreatment system works.
- Good team working, communication and task prioritization.
- Enthusiasm and interest in Engineering is required
