About this role

AlphaGov (Casa Moon LLC d/b/a AlphaGov) delivers public-sector consulting for cities, counties, school systems, special districts, utilities, and related agencies. Our work spans classification and compensation, organizational and operational studies, research and program evaluation, economic and workforce analysis, surveys and community research, and applied data and infrastructure research.

We engage experienced practitioners as project-based collaborators. Engagements are remote-first with occasional client travel. When you authorize it, AlphaGov may name you as an expert collaborator or key personnel on proposals that match your expertise. We build ready teams for live pursuits — not speculative staffing banks.

This opportunity is contingent upon contract award and final staffing approval. Permission will be requested before including a candidate's name or resume in a proposal.

AlphaGov is seeking a CDBG Program Administrator to administer compliant community-development grant activities across higher-education and municipal settings, with responsibility for coordination, documentation, monitoring, reporting, and closeout.

What you'll do:

- Coordinate CDBG program planning, application, award, implementation, monitoring, and closeout activities
- Maintain grant files, budgets, schedules, procurement records, eligibility documentation, and performance evidence
- Support environmental review, labor standards, civil rights, fair housing, financial controls, and subrecipient oversight
- Prepare reports, corrective-action plans, training materials, and clear status updates for grantees and stakeholders
- Contribute CDBG administration qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when permissioned

Requirements

Required:

- Hands-on CDBG or closely related HUD grant-administration experience
- Knowledge of federal grant compliance, procurement, environmental review, reporting, monitoring, and records management
- Comfortable as a 1099 / project-based collaborator with travel as needed for client on-sites

Nice to have:

- Experience supporting colleges, small cities, or rural and coastal communities
- IDIS, DRGR, eCivis, or comparable grant-management systems
- Prior Texas or Florida public-sector grant administration
