At The Melt, we are continuing to grow and will be opening 2 New Restaurant Locations in Daly City and Downtown San Francisco and we are looking for highly experienced Restaurant Managers, including District Managers, General Managers, and Assistant General Managers who will be in the role of Assistant Manager role for one year following successful completion of our formal MIT (Management Training Program of 6-8 weeks) to prepare you to step into a General Manager role within approximately one year from completing the formal MIT training (based on available opportunities and ability to relocate in the future).

At The Melt, our compensation plan and benefits offerings are better than the competition. One way this is possible is that our Assistant Managers earn TIPS, which averages $450.00 every four weeks, and they are paid Regular Time and 7-8 Hours of Overtime compensation for each week worked. Candidates applying for this opportunity must be flexible and MUST be willing to work Post-training in both Daly City and our downtown San Francisco locations.

At The Melt, our Assistant Managers are paid Hourly (Plus Overtime compensation) rather than salary; thus, they are typically paid 40 Hours of regular time and 7-8 hours of Overtime at an Overtime Rate. In addition, our Assistant Managers are eligible to EARN TIPS, and their Tips average $450 for every 4-week Operating Period, and they are also Bonus Incentive eligible and can earn up to more than $7500.00 annually in Bonus Incentives, with earned Bonus Incentives paid out every 6.50 weeks throughout the course of the fiscal year vs. having to wait 13/26/52 Weeks to be paid earned bonuses, as many brands require. In addition, if you miss one of the Operating Targets for the Operating Period, you don't give up all of your Bonus Incentives for that Operating Period, as you can still be paid for the remaining target incentives you achieve .

Here are the estimated annual earning ranges for three position levels at The Melt (including average earned Tips for eligible positions and maximizing annual Bonus Incentive Potential), so you have an understanding of what the compensation opportunities look like as you may grow and advance with the brand:

Assistant Managers: $50K - $80K
General Managers: $80K - $110K
District Managers: $135K - $160K
