Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive responsible for driving the growth, commercialization, and adoption of Visa's Issuing Solutions and Risk & Security Solutions portfolio across banks, fintechs, and other financial institutions in the Philippines.
What a Manager, Issuing Sales Executive does at Visa:
This role is accountable for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing a robust sales pipeline, and leading client engagements that help issuers increase payment volumes, improve cardholder experiences, strengthen fraud prevention capabilities, optimize portfolio performance, and accelerate digital transformation.
Working closely with the Head of Value-Added Services in the Philippines, Account Executives, Client Services, Consulting & Analytics, Finance, Sales Operations, and the Regional Market Support Center, the Issuing Sales Executive will develop strategic client plans, originate new opportunities, and deliver against revenue and adoption targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Revenue Growth and Client Adoption:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to accelerate adoption of Visa's Issuing Solutions and Risk & Security Solutions portfolio.
- Build, manage, and convert a strong pipeline of opportunities across financial institutions and fintechs.
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, including opportunity identification, solutioning, proposal development, commercial negotiations, contracting, and deal closure.
- Deliver annual revenue, pipeline, and client adoption targets.
- Develop and execute account plans in partnership with Visa Account Executives and Country Leadership.
Serve as a Trusted Strategic Advisor:
- Engage senior stakeholders across cards, retail banking, digital banking, fraud, risk, and security functions.
- Develop business cases and value propositions aligned to client priorities.
- Demonstrate measurable outcomes related to fraud reduction, authorization uplift, digital payment growth, customer experience improvement, and operational efficiency.
- Support clients through implementation and post-deployment adoption to maximize value realization.
Drive Commercialization and Market Development:
- Support the launch and commercialization of new Issuing and Risk & Security Solutions capabilities in the Philippines.
- Develop client-specific growth strategies and market acceleration plans.
- Identify new industry trends, client needs, and emerging opportunities.
- Provide market feedback to influence regional and global product roadmaps.
Grow Visa's Issuing Solutions Business:
- Partner with issuers to drive portfolio growth, deepen cardholder engagement, accelerate digital payment adoption, and advance modernization initiatives through Visa's Issuing Solutions portfolio.
- The role is responsible for identifying opportunities to deploy solutions that enhance customer experience, strengthen loyalty and retention, enable digital experiences, support innovative payment propositions, and modernize issuing capabilities.
- The Issuing Sales Executive will lead the commercialization and adoption of Visa's issuer-focused solutions, helping clients unlock new growth opportunities, differentiate their card propositions, and accelerate their digital transformation agendas.
Grow Visa's Risk & Security Solutions Business:
- Partner with Fraud, Risk, and Cybersecurity leaders to strengthen payment security, reduce fraud losses, improve authorization performance, and enhance customer trust through Visa's Risk & Security Solutions portfolio.
- The role is responsible for identifying opportunities to deploy solutions that protect digital payments, strengthen authentication, optimize risk decisioning, and combat emerging fraud threats while enhancing customer experience.
- The Issuing Sales Executive will drive the adoption of Visa's fraud, authentication, and risk management solutions by aligning solution capabilities to client risk priorities and business objectives, helping clients build safer and more resilient payment ecosystems.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in payments, banking, fintech, financial services, technology, consulting, or related industries.
- Proven experience in solution sales, business development, product commercialization, product management, or client-facing roles within payments, fraud, risk, digital banking, or adjacent sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, build pipeline, develop commercial proposals, and drive complex sales cycles from origination through contract execution.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to articulate business value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Natural curiosity and ability to quickly learn new products, technologies, and market developments, and effectively translate complex concepts into compelling client value propositions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at varying levels of an organization.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative team player with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional and matrixed organizations.
- Strong understanding of card issuing, digital payments, authentication, fraud prevention, and risk management preferred.
