Cook Ford is looking for a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused Service Porter to join our Service Department. The Service Porter plays an important role in keeping the service drive organized, moving customer vehicles safely and efficiently, and helping provide a clean, professional experience for every customer.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working around vehicles, takes pride in their work, and wants to gain experience in the automotive industry.
Responsibilities

- Assist Service Department personnel in a friendly and professional manner.

- Move customer vehicles to and from service bays, parking areas, and designated locations.

- Retrieve and deliver customer vehicles as needed.

- Maintain an organized and efficient service drive and parking areas.

- Perform vehicle pick-up and delivery duties when needed.

- Assist Service Advisors and Technicians with general department needs.

- Check vehicles for personal belongings before and after service when required.

- Maintain cleanliness of the Service Department, customer waiting areas, and surrounding areas.

- Assist with moving and organizing vehicles throughout the dealership lot.

- Safely operate dealership vehicles and equipment.

- Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures.

- Ensure customer vehicles are handled with care and respect at all times.

- Assist with vehicle deliveries and other dealership errands as assigned.

- Perform other duties as assigned by Service Management.

Qualifications

- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

- Ability to safely operate both automatic and manual-transmission vehicles is preferred.

- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.

- Professional appearance and positive attitude.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to safely lift, carry, and move items as required.

- Previous automotive or dealership experience is helpful but not required.

- Willingness to learn and take direction.
