ATTENDANT (GYM)

Are you passionate about fitness and dedicated to providing excellent customer service? We are looking for a reliable Gym Attendant to help maintain a clean and safe workout environment and assist with various gym activities.

Summary of the position

Gym Attendants are responsible for maintaining a clean and safe workout environment and providing excellent customer service. You will also be responsible for setting up and tearing down rentals, such as volleyball, basketball, and pickleball.

Normal Shift:

Weekday shifts: 4:45am-10am, 10a-2pm, 2pm-6pm, and 6pm-11pm

Weekend shifts: 6:45am-1pm and 1pm-8pm

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Ensure the fitness and gymnasiums areas are clean and well-maintained.

- Assist with member inquiries,

- Ensure guests adhere to department and facility policies

- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety issues to management.

- Assist fitness instructors and personal trainers with class setups and equipment needs.

- Foster a welcoming and motivating atmosphere for all members.

- Assist with fitness and athletic events as needed.

Qualifications or desired qualifications

- Must be at least 16 years of age.

- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings/mornings, weekends, and holidays.

- Ability to lift and/or move over 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

- Ability to perform work functions with minimal supervision.
